A cracker by Michael Essien saved Chelsea from their first defeat at home under the Portuguese coach and earn a draw to maintain their distance from the leaders to eight points. Much pressure was put by the home side in the second but had to settle for a draw in the end.There were two changes from the side that had picked up group-clinching point at the Dragon Stadium. Flamini has now scored against both Liverpool and Chelsea this season and is looking to strengthen his position in the midfield under the absence of Rosicky.
