Arsenal go to Anfeild this tuesday to play Liverpool in the Carling Cup Quarter Finals. Though the Cup is not of much importance to both of the teams but winning a match like this can boost the morale of any of the teams. Arsenal are expected to play a youthful side again this tuesday making many changes from the side that played against Portsmouth on Saturday. On head to head Liverpool have an edge on Arsenal but on current form Arsenal look to be the favorites. Of the 195 matches played between the two sides 68 have been won by the gunners and liverpool have won 79 and the rest are draws. In the league too liverpool tookver Arsenal in the table with a one point lead. Arsenal hav won the last two encounter between the two teams. Ljungberg has been ruled out of the matches until Christmas. Long time absentee Bisan Lauren is expected to make a return to the Arsenal side after playing in the behind closed dorrs friendly last week. Theirry Henry is expected to be back against Liverpool in the FA Cupp tie that is on the 6th January. Rosicky is also expected to play after three week on the sidelines.
